The Tarpon is Florida's premiere game fish. In their larval stage they are transparent, have a ribbonlike body and prominent fanglike teeth, and are less than an inch long. They are primarily found inshore and and the average catch ranges between Generally 40 - 150 lbs.The Florida state Tarpon record, is
