This month and next month is the transition period between summer and winter fishing. The fishing remains very good. Snook are still cruising the beach and the passes and are in the backcountry as well Redfish are abundant in the backcountry. Trout are showing up on the grass flats.

Yesterday morning, south of Naples, Captain Tim Daugherty caught tailing redfish on the oyster beds with purple and black flies and snook in the deeper troughs on jigs.

Low tides in the mornings over the next several days should present excellent fly fishing opportunities.

Yes, things should be about the same unless we get a strong cold front.
Thanks
