Catching fish is hit or miss right now. When the fronts are upon us the conditions worsen and the bite slows down. Warm, sunny days between fronts can have some great action. We are still catching some small to medium sized snook and a few redfish. Trout fishing is picking up although the season is closed until January so it is catch and release only. The grassflats have been bursting with life. The last of the year's baitfish schools are being blasted on both incoming and outgoing tides. Good time of year to get a lot of bites. It is not inconceiveable to catch 8-10 different species of fish in a single day.

Tight lines,

Ken,

Wow, nice Red.

Was that fish in shallow water or did you have to dredge him up?

Man, I'd love to catch a fish like that on a fly rod! A concept of my dreams.

Thanks for posting.

Marshall
