Hi Mark..... I wanted to drop a quick line to thank you for the advice on the Tarpon and Snook while I was down there. The last three days were awesome I fished the mangroves just to the right of sandpiper two evenings in a row and hooked up twice with 2 nice Tarpon....now If I can just figure out how to get em to the boat!!! the second one I had on for about ten mins until he broke the line. got 'em both on the mullet you have there with the blue flashes in. Never realized how spooky those fish are!
Fun times!
but it gets better.......both nights I fished the lights along the sandpiper canal and I hit two tapon and I pulled three snook one really good size one.....I was amazed how many fish hang under those lights....I had a little skiff i would drift from light to light and most times would turn a fish on the first or second cast..... so on thanksgiving night I used that little shrimp Marshall gave to me and hooked a tapon on the first cast had him on for about 30 seconds..very short strips and he hit it on the fifth or sixth....Please thank Marshall and let him know I hooked up! I gotta tell you man this shit is awesome, Tempting to move on down and never leave....I gotta work on the wife...
Once again man thanx for the advice and your store looks awesome I hope you had a GREAT holiday.
Cheers
Ian, Orvis Pasadena

Ian,

If you read this, I forgot o tell you about those Peachy Shrimp. They're only good for a thirty second romp, unless you strip them fast. Then they are keepers!

Happy you had fun.

Marsh
