Today I went fishing with HansF and JoopW. We where on a odyssey through the
Backcountry to look at several of our local haunts to see how things where.
The situation differed a lot from water to water, just look at the pictures below all
taken on the same day in the same general area.
Congrats to Joop who managed to catch the first fish of the season, a nice pike.

BTW I never name my favorite places by their full name hence the names

from the looks of it you should plop down a few flies in the hatchery

Excuse me? What are you implying. Are the trout I catch so small
that I might as well fish the hatch pool?

I think I would manage one cast before they would crusify me!
