Later this month I am going to the Everglades for a canoeing trip in the Thousand Islands area. A friend of mine and I fish a lot, and would like to fish while we are in Florida. We've read that the species we have the best chance of catching are snook and redfish. I'm wondering if you could describe for us in what type of water these fish might hold at this time of
year and what tackle might draw them. We would appreciate any
information on locating these fish - and catching them in general -
that you would be willing to share.
