The last 2 weeks have been memorable, mostly because of the great folks I've been fishing with. The solitary times have been fun too. Sneaking aound old haunts on odd tides and exploring new places here around Naples and on the Trail has been a pleasure.

Here's a few pictures of the last few weeks.

Tom Murphy, an excellent angler. Tom and I shared an enjoyable morning today wade fishing at Clam Pass.

A very large Snook I saw while fishing on the Trail last week. He wouldn't look at my fly.

"Diamond' Dave Teper's superb backcast is a motion of grace frozen here. We kayaked Clam Pass on a recent pristene morning, flat calm, no wind. Another angle of a smooth caster in action....

Thanks for anther great day fishing, Dave.

Above, Bob Ainsworth finds the right way to cast in a tough wind at the Pass.
His sister, Betty, below is a very good angler and picked up some extra pointers on our enjoyable wade trip.

Dominick Cotugno invited Dad and me to fish with him on his new Hells Bay Marquesa. Wow, what a ship! We explored all around Rookery Bay. Thanks for a great day, Dominic.

I caught a few of these toothy trout at Little Carlos Pass Bridge.

A Snook caught today at the Pass

One of the best Snook flies I have been using.

So boys and girls it's jury duty for a week for me :( BUT, :D on April 10 I'll be headed to the Key of Islemorada for 5 days of Tarpon and Bonefishing. I'm staying at the Key Lantern Motel. If you're free, give me a call (239-793-45580 and let's go fishing. After that, I'll be back fishing locally. Then it's off to Maine's Kennebec River where I'll resume guiding from the driftboat at www.flyfishingonly.com and wade fish guiding with my own service.

Hey Marshall

Were in clam pass do you wade, do you take the first cut before the pass and fish back there. And also how far back do you go.

snookin,
cool handle :)
I turn in just before the pass, yes, and I wade all over back there. Can go to the island just below Pelican Bay Bridge all the way to Registry Resort Bridge. Can't wade around back to the pass itself-too deep. Plenty of good water to take up 4 hrs. or so for anyone. Gulf wind recently has stirred the water in the pass to a deep coffee latte making it tough for a fish to 'see' a fly.
