Planing our first fishing trip in the area in late may (Memorial Day Week). Any suggestions for the best trip for that time of year. Tarpoon? Snook? Red Fish. Thanks

I would book a trip with one of the guides ,if they can fit you in. I have been fishing with everglades angler for some time now and they can find the fish... I think small Tarpon and reds are in this time of year.. Good luck hope to see you. Joe-m

Hi Shane, the fishing in late May can be great, the snook and tarpon are in and feeding as well as the reds but they are not usually as prevelant or pursiued in the spring. The water can get crystal clear in May on the high tides. Fishing around the passes can be productive and fun because of the site fishing opportunities. May is when i start fish early in the am. Not at sunrise but at first light. First light can bring alot of feeding activity. See you at sunrise.
