went to a local course today thats closed for the summer. first time fishing there. lost one snook at least ten pounds. caught 18 little ones the biggest was 24 inches and fifteen bass all under two pounds.

Do those golf course ponds also harbor exotics like oscars and mayan cichlids ? Since there are Snook present there must be a connection with tidal waters right ?

yes they have cichlids. i don't know about oscars. yes there is a connection. i am going to hit another pond there toinghtso i' ll give a report later.

How about the lake by the commons off Goodlette? There's also a good looking lake at ther corner of Livingston & GG Parkway but looks private although access is great
and marcel, also found a small pond behing Michaels crafts and behind circuit city

went to different lake very shallow. one little bass. went back to the first lake and ened up with 8 little snook and two bass.

the lake at the corner of golden gate and livingston? are you talking about the lake someone built the golf course around? there a lake on livingston right next to wydemere that i see people fishing.
