May and June may be my two favorite months of the year. The water is crystal clear in many places (a rarity most of the year) and the fish & wildlife of all kinds are active. I fished the other day with Caleb from Maine and we had a great time. Caleb caught a nice bonita on a plug on 10lb test. Found some cudas but we couldn't get them to bite. The water is clear on the beach and the snook are there. There has also been an excellent Pompano run at the Naples Pier this week.We fished mostly on the outside but we did fish inside some tarpon. Only saw 3 roll and they didn't want our live bait. Schools of tarpon can be anywhere off the beach anytime of day but I love first light, about 6:00am. Check out pics below and forum story titled "tarpon fun" for the whole story! I also threw in some signs of spring pics. Good fishin'
