Hi everyone! I'm a newby to the board with a few questions that ought to be a layup for you locals.
I'm heading down from Alabama for the second annual Skeeter Fest out of Flamingo. We will be renting one of the houseboats and staying around the mouth of the shark river for a few days off tarpon and snooking.
A few questions for the board: What's the best way(places, tides, etc.) to catch and keep bait for several days/hours? What plugs do you prefer for tarpon or snook? How about some areas to try(maybe further inland) for snook or baby tarpon and what tides to fish? Any favorite fly patterns?
