So after boarding up the local Orvis outfitter Everglades Angler I headed out to the beach with a certified snook catching gummi minnow. When I came at the beach it looked like a circus, newscrews where busy at every beachaccess.
I walked the beach for a while but could not spot any snook, the large waves coming from the gulf where a sign that the storm was coming.
The beach was not fishable so plan B came into action meaning I would fish Naples bay instead.
Maybe there was some truth behind that good pre-hurricane fishing since I hooked into a Jack Crevalle pretty fast.

The pilings where yet another certified fishing location that yielded me a nice mangrove snapper and a little snook.

When it was high tide I had no hits anymore.
The wind had ceased and the humidity killed me so I called it a day.
