Last week before the storm, I was able to fish in Naples with Ben Geroy. The bite was good early in the morning and tapered off as the sun started getting up in the sky. We ended up boating 3 cookie cutter redfish on the 3 in. Gulp Shrimp in the molting color.

I also landed this MONSTER snook,

, on a 2/0 popper, I don't know how he got his mouth around it

With no school last week, I decided to fish Thursday thru Saturday on the low tides later in the day. On Thursday, I Headed to the area I've been finding the tailers lately and was happily greeted by a few reds eating well. Being that this was my brothers, first time really sightfishing I went through the basics with him

I guess it just wasn't his day, we had multiple good shots at fish but he just couldn't get the hook stuck in him. He lost 3 nice fish

I decided I had to step up and with a red tailing about 30 ft of the starboard side, I made a cast to it, I watched the tail go down, and got a solid hook-set. A few minutes later, this guy was to the boat 25 in. Red

We had a few more shots but the wind started to kick up. My brother kept blind casting and finally landed a couple nice trout

Don't know if you can see the fish but their is a trout in the water

All fish were caught on Castaic Jerk Baits in natural baitfish colors. The next few days were slow with sightfishing being pretty tough with the strong NE wind. It made it pretty hard to get to where I wanted to so I decided to fish some new places. I ended up catching 3 trout, 2 of which were 20" and 22"
