November 11 Fished in Naples with forum member G-Roy. Splashed the boat at around 7:30 and tried to head out of Gordons to see if the Mackeral were biting but halfway through the pass, we got a little wet,(we were in the Gheenoe), so we decided to head down to Keywadin on the inside. With a low rising tide, we threw flies at some shorelines but didn't produce anything. Fished a few docks that usually have jacks around them and Ben ended up with this nice jack Image We moved on to some mangroves near Naples Bay where I was throwing a Prismatic Baitfish type fly(I think that's what it's called) and he was throwing a Gurgler, we each hooked up on a couple tiny snook but just couldn't bring them to the boat  November 12 Didn't get up to the house until around 3 so we headed out hoping to catch the low tide. Only got a couple shots a some tails but still managed to catch a couple trout. Man was it windy 8O It was a bear to pole in that wind. There must have been at least a dozen or so rays that were finning at the surface.... the first time we saw them I poled into the wind only to find out they were rays  Oh well, here are some of the trout, all of the fish were caught on a 3 in. molting Gulp Shrimp with a 2/0 unweighted worm hook. Ben's trout Image Another one Image A trout release Image

Nice report. A getaway house in Pine Island, nice.
Something interesting happened the other day in the Keewaydin Island cove near Gordons Pass. A massive school of shinners swam into the cove and then died. I was out there a few days after and there were still fish everywhere. The pictures I saw looked like half the cove was covered in snow. Ill try to get some pictures.
Thanks for the report.
Mark
