Fished with Gary and Tom Orr on Friday. The Plan was to fill the live well with shiners on the beach but the cold front, high winds and negative tides made the beach a mess. We ended up going with plan B and fish artificial. Gary threw the fly and Tom backed it up with a Hybrid jig. The low water and high winds made it tough just to find a place to fish let alone catch them. We found a few productive shorelines that produced a dozen snook small Jacks Ladyfish and Even a Big Sheephead on fly. I thought we had a decent day considering the conditions. Tom and Gary are great guy’s to fish with. We have another tropical storm aimed at us named Gamma. Hopefully this takes a turn. We need to stay in a steady weather pattern for more than a week.
