12/3 Decided to take Ben Geroy up to Pine Island late Saturday to do some fishing we headed out and caught some trout but were mainly waiting for the low water that was going to be here around 10 0' Clock next morning. After a few trout between the 2 of us, we headed in to call it a day. 12/4 Got up at around 9 O' Clock, loaded the boat up, and hit a flat that has been producing some nice reds for me in the past few weeks. As I was poling towards the flat, we were each able to catch a few trout that were lying in pot-holes.

First tailer I see, I tell Ben where to cast but he still can't see him. His tail was just barely tipping through the water. He endeds up moving off so we wait for another tail. Next tail is nice and high in the air, I pole over to him, Ben makes a great cast, brings it across the fishes nose, twitches it once, and the battle is on

Fish was 27 in. and 10 lbs.
