Image
The early morning top water bite in Estero Bay has been great. The conditions were prefect. A cold night followed by a hot sunny afternoon. Big snook have been moving up in the shallows to feed and to warm up in the early morning hours. I like to fish the islands and oyster bars that have a current flowing over them. A zara spook or a skitter walk are great plugs to get that big snooks attention. Keep your boat well off the shoreline and make long casts as not to spook the fish. Make sure your drag is set and get ready for an Explosion !!!!!!!

Capt. Tim Daugherty
Everglades Angler
