I woke up this morning and the outside temp read 31.2 degrees! Most of the snook and redfish probably have been almost dormant for a couple of days although the weather will warm up all week and the redfish and snook will become more active. In addition we have good tides all week for fly or spin fishing for redfish, snook, trout, pompano and more. The low tides mid morning will be conducive to sight fishing for snook plus the rest of the day will be a nice incoming tide which the redfish and snook like. By the weekend, you’ll be able to catch the end of the outgoing in the am and then the incoming during mid day and early afternoon as the water warms! Look for the snook over darker bottom trying to get warm. They will not necessarily be along the shorelines but in the open bays.
