Hey guys,
i have a few questions for ya. Im coming down to marco island and the isles of capri area here in about a week. I am from Ohio and have never fished down there before. I do a ton of fishing up here so i know what im doing i just dont know where to go down there and what i can expect to catch. Ill be shore fishing mostly and i dont really care what i catch, just want to get into some fish, would really like to catch a few sharks if at all possable. Tips on bait/ tackle/places? Ill probably go out on a head/party boat down there atleast once and hopefully more, any suggestions on a good one? thanks for any help you can give guys. ~ Garo
Tiger Tail beach on Marco is good. Get there early before all the beach walkers come out. There is also shore access around the Marco bridge. Jigs tipped with shrimp, live shrimp or spoons will do the job. You could also walk to the south end of Marco and fish the rocks at the pass. You never know what you will get into there.
Good luck
