Hello everyone,
I recently moved to florida from Italy. I had to give up almost my hobby but i got a new one, i start fishing and love it. I got myself a boat and start going fishing inshore and offshore. Well I guess is more correct to say that i go out with my boat, I put the line in the water and when the baits ends i come back home.
Is there any one that know if there is a fishing class where i can learn about fishing from the a,b,c on: from the why use one line better than another one, to what kind of bait, jigs, weight and so on.
possibly without got have to get a 3rd mortgage on my home?
I really appreciate your help.

A boat is a great start! go to google and search swflorida atrifical reefs they have several gps numbers of local wrecks to fish around. Marks store also has a list of areas to fish. I like to fish around the passes. Most of us use fly gear with you can pick up at marks store. He also gives fly casting lessons. Warning once you start fly fishing you can't stop!! You will always remember your first fish on a fly!! Orvis has an enty level package again mark has it at the store good luck see ya on the gulf

Try going into a few of the local tackle shops & ask around. Do a google.com search for any local fishing clubs, I think the CCA has a chapter in Naples. You can meet some nice people through those clubs, who would likely be more than happy to fish with you.
