The fishing in the islands today was pretty good according Capt Ken Chambers. Ken Fished live bait today with long time client John Dessauer today and they were able to catch good numbers of snook. The majority of the fish weren't huge, but the action was steady all morning which is great. I also spoke with another long time customer of the shop Jim Snyder. Jim fly fished with Capt. Kevin Merritt and was able to bring 6 nice snook to the boat. The fish were caught blind casting as well as sight fishing. All in all it sounds like everyone had a great morning. Happy to see that while the fishing has been good, it is starting to stabilize a bit more. We have some awesome outgoing tides in the afternoon this week so get out there and take advantage of them...
