I will be down the 1st week in June (from Idaho) and looking to fish some of the beaches. I have a 22' flats cat to use, (but I am more then willing fish from land) and fish with flies. Any info / help would be appreciated.

June can be a great month to fish the beaches. Since you have a boat I would fish Keewaydin Island South of Naples. It's a beautiful undeveloped barrier island and beach. The snook will cruise the edge of the water, many times within a couple of feet of the beach. You can fish from the boat if you have a way to propel it with out the big motor or walk the beach. When your walking, walk up a good distance from the water so you don't spook em'. EP micro minnows work well in white and green and other small white streamers.
Stop in when your in town and maybe we can help steer you in the right direction.
Good luck!
