Capt. Tim Daugherty reports the fishing is hot in the 10,000 Islands for reds, snook and an occasional tarpon. Fly fishing has been good on the lower tide phases and should continue this week as the tide will be low in the morning and late in the afternoon. White bait is available along the Marco Island beach and off shore on the threadfins can be found along tide lines. Mackeral are also being caught not far off the beaches.
