Captain Tim Daugherty reports that the fishing has been hot in Southwest Florida the past several weeks.

Redfish and snook above the slot limits are being caught on top water artificials and flies in Estero Bay.

Large numbers of snook are roaming the beaches off Naples, were the bait fish are plentiful, and are being taken on bait, artificals and flies.

Snook are also being taken on artificials and flies from the rocks at Gordon Pass on the incoming tide.

South of Naples, snook and redfish action is good on artificals and flies at low tide in the oyster bed troughs.

:) Well you could also try to hook a live sardine and cast it about fourty feet away from rock piles on submurged rocks for the BIG snook!
