Captain Kevin Merritt reports that the fishing south of Naples has recovered from last week's cold front and is excellent once again.

Medium to lower slot sized snook are scattered in the bays and are being taken on rattle and eep flies as well as jigs.

Redfish have returned to the outside points.

Trout and pompano are in the passes.

Mackerel in large numbers are along the beaches.
