I had the Pleasure of fishing with Nelson Amirault. We started out fly fishing in some very windy overcast conditions. I taught Nelson how to cast side arm to keep the Fly line out of the wind and making it easier to put the Fly under the Mangroves. He got the hang of it and hooked a nice Snook shortly after but the hooked popped out. The tide was getting high so we changed to pitching Jigs and caught Trout, Jacks, Ladyfish and Redfish. Here is Nelson with a 31" 11lb Redfish caught on an open Flat on an outside Island near Goodland. The weather has turned a little nasty but is supposed to get better by mid week.
