Feb 13th Lynn Judy & David Mckay
Feb 14th Matt Bell (12 years old) & Dad Doug from Sioux Falls, South Dakota
I commonly get asked when is the best day, month, moon phase or tide to fish and having broken my crystal ball several years ago, I normally reply "whenever we both have time". If you were choosing a day by this criteria you wouldn't have chosen Feb 13th or 14th, but it would have been a mistake. Any day in the 10,000 Islands can potentially yield trophy fish, like the snook, grouper or Giant jack, Lynn Judy & David McKay landed while fishing with me on the 13th or the 23lb snook, Matt Bell (12 years old) from Sioux Falls, South Dakota landed while fishing with me and his dad Doug on the 14th. These are only the highlights many more fish were landed by all. Matt and Doug are obvious nature lovers and spotted a loggerhead turtle, a manatee, countless dolphin and birds feeding thru out the day.
