Captain Kevin Merritt reports that the cold front that went through the area early in the week made for challenging fishing. But warmer weather has returned, and with it the fishing action should be good.
Redish and snook should be coming out of the deep holes to feed.
Redfish should be moving into the inside of the passes. Tan and rust EP spawning shrimp flies should be productive.
Snook should be moving into the dark bottom areas of the middle bays. Purple / black and other dark EP minnow patterns should prove effective.
Trout and pompano should be plentyful on the outside flats.
Low tides occuring in the morning should provide excellent site fishing opportunities.
