Local Everglades Angler Dave Rogers and his son on their recent trip to Guatemala:
Dear Mark, Oliver and I just returned from our fishing expedition to Guatemala. In three days we raised 75 Saillfish. Of these we brought 16 to the boat by conventional tackle and six by fly rod. The largest Sailfish was caught by Oliver on a fly rod and was later found to be an onofficial world record at 135 lbs. plus (estimated) on fly with 20 lb tippet. Hopefully I will get a chance to use the Orvis Zero gravity 11 wt. on a tarpon soon. Thanks for your help.
Congratulations to Dave and Oliver on a great trip.
Image
Image
