As usual, the end of the falling tide produced a dozen fun little snook inside of Clam Pass. The bite lasted for about an hour or so, and included some trout and some jack crevalle. Not bad for a quick afternoon getaway...

Aron: I saw a few Tarpon rolling just off of the beach outside of clam pass the other morning, although by the time I got close enough for a shot, they were nowhere to be found. The tide was high and just started going out and it was fairly calm. I noticed a whole lot of little crabs clinging to debris and getting washed out, which I believe is the reason there were a couple of tarpon there, although since those fish, I have not seen another one. You never know what you'll hook up to there with the right presentation...

Mark: I see a few brave souls make the trek to the bridge on foot, I prefer kayak, buy I guess it is possible. I do know that it is an effortless place to enjoy a few hours in the evening catching some fun little fish. I hope that the traffic there doesn't ruin the experience, as I am noticing more and more boats actually going through there, deck boats, jet boats, bay boats, just tearing it up....what a shame
