Staying in Naples April 19-27, hoping to fly fish the area. One day plan to book a guided trip, but would like to find a few places I could fish from shore. Are these place along or off rt 41, with easy access? Can you fly fish along the beach at the public pier early morning?
Certainly would like to hear recommendations, suggestions, equipment, local flies that work.
Maybe someone is looking for a fishing partner one day during the week?

Tried this the summer to shore fish on fly, found best area near the structure down from the pier, had snook and jack, both on clouser. Go early, they loose interest by about 11.
Im there in march, or I would have had a morning with you cheers.
