Tarpon!
I have been on them at early morning offshore in about 10-12ft of water. The fish are scattered but I have been watching for rollers and the free jumpers. Setting up with live pilchards of the back drifting through the areas and getting 1-3 hook ups a morning and the bite has been ending early. I have been moving inshore after the tarpon bite dies off and doing well on Snook from the outside all the way to the back. The incoming tides have been the best again using the live Pilchards.

For the Fly guys I have been running very far south and finding a few shots at laid up Tarpon. It has been tough but getting better. Snook fishing has been decent on the lower tides with black streamers.

Hopefully the cold fronts are a memory and we can get some consistent fishing going. The days without wind are great.

I had John Rowland and Doug Minter out for a great day
