Hi again! Making another trip down March 10 -24, and can't wait--Boston has been coooold this winter.
Looking for any beach fishing tips for these two passes (they're the easiest for me to reach by bike). I'll be using spinning gear. Also can fish Clam bay from a canoe.
Any notes on species, tides, lures, water depth all appreciated. Thanks.
Full moon on the 10th so you'll have low water in the early am that week. We've been doing well on pink, yellow and white jigs. I like to tip them with a piece of shrimp for smell. Spoons also work and cover alot of territory.
On the lower tides you'll be able to wade in the back of clam pass somewhat. The water varies from troughs that can be 5' or more to shallows. During the lower tides fish the troughs and higher tides fish shorline.
Good luck!
