Hi everyone my name is kevin flood and I have a question about fishing the beach. Should you wade out during low tide if you don't see anything running? Or should you just go in ankle deep? Oh and what are the best times to fish in the afternoon or late afternoon?

Thanks,

Kevin

hi kevin, thanks for signing up and the question. when i fish the beach for snook i like to walk up from the water about 20' or 30' so i dont spook the fish. if you wade in ankle deep your walking where the fish run. they'll be right next to the waters edge. i also like a higher tide if possible, it tends to form a trough where the snook cruise. afternoon when the sun is higher makes it easier to see the fish although they may bite beter n the late pm
stay in touch
thanks

Thank you very much Mark. I caught myself a descent sized snook today at about 11:00 by Dr.'s Pass. I caught him on a tan E.P.

thanks again,

Kevin
